Technical Items of Interest
The main Hydrofloors® structure consists of marine-grade stainless-steel beams, calculated precisely to pool size requirements and optimal load capacity.
Beneath the main floor structure are closed-cell, foam buoyancy packs which render the entire floor ultra-buoyant; these packs are efficiently fitted within the structural network.
This buoyant structure is pulled down by stainless-steel scissor-lift, with a water-based hydraulic cylinder to a pre-programmed depth.
All components are sized-to-purpose, considering all factors of safety.
The floor surface finish consists of 3mm (1/8”) thick stainless-steel plates, prepped and ready for finish as per your design (e.g., tile, mosaic, natural stone, etc.).
The moving pool floor system is controlled by a hard-wired, IP-rated touchpad with proprietary Twinscape software and 24/7 performance monitoring.
As with regular pool maintenance, annual visits by certified Hydrofloors® technicians are essential to ensure proper functioning of the floor. No drainage of the pool is required for these visits – our techs are certified divers!
